The 84-year-old New Yorker, who has had multiple cosmetic surgeries to look “cattier,” shared a vintage photo on Instagram revealing her natural face.

Jocelyn Wildenstein, her real name, revealed her natural beauty to her millions of Instagram followers this Saturday, August 24. The first wife of French billionaire Alec Wildenstein published a souvenir photo of her daughter when she was a child. Unrecognizable in this photo, the eight-year-old Swiss-born girl had yet to undergo the many radical cosmetic surgeries that made her famous in spite of herself. His facial features appear to be a world away from the “feline” look that earned him his nickname.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter, Diane Wildenstein,” she wrote in the caption of her post dedicated to her eldest, who turns 45 today.
Seven facelifts, injections and radical eye reconstruction
Shortly after this picture was taken in the early 1980s, Jocelyn Wildenstein began her spectacular transformation. Afraid of losing her ex-husband’s interest, she underwent plastic surgery in hopes of becoming “more attractive” in his eyes. Indeed, remembering his partner’s passion for “exotic cats”, he sought to look “more feline”, explains an article published in a British newspaper. The Telegraph in 2008.
Unfortunately, these operations, costing a total of more than 2 million euros, had the opposite effect than expected. Always according to The Telegraphthe first time Alec Wildenstein saw his wife after his transformation, he reportedly screamed in terror, unable to recognize her. “He seems to think you fix a face like you fix a house,” he later complained.
Taking this setback as proof that she didn’t go far enough, the New Yorker will undergo a series of additional cosmetic procedures to once again “raise” her figure. These include collagen injections to the lips, cheeks and chin, as well as at least seven facelifts and radical eye reconstruction.
