INTERVIEW – Since 2018, the face of L’Interdit perfume, the American actress supports the release of a new version of Givenchy fragrance, L’Interdit Absolu.

How does Givenchy suit me?
Givenchy creations have always inspired me. I wore them on the first major red carpet of my career, for a premiere. millennium, in London in 2011. I was very nervous and it was important that I felt comfortable in my clothes. The house has always been close to cinema and actresses. I think particularly of his close artistic collaboration with Hubert de Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn.
What do I like about L’interdit?
Its sophistication, its unisex side. The power of orange blossom, lavender and jasmine evokes softness and femininity to me, while the woody, earthier notes strike me as more masculine.
A perfume that takes me back to my childhood?
I grew up in the country, and every time I smell a stable or a barn, it reminds me of my grandparents’ farm. Moths e. when it was very hot, they gave their house a special fragrance.

My definition of beauty.
It evolves over time. The older I get, the less it has to do with the physical. My approach has become more holistic, and ultimately the less I focus on external signs of beauty, the more authentic and comfortable I feel in my own skin.
My female models.
The women of my family. my mother, obviously, the first love of my life. my sister Kate (also actress, Editor’s Note), of which I am a fan and whom I have followed everywhere; and my aunts, many. My father comes from a family of eleven children and my mother from five children. Yes, but my priorities changed when I became a mother. I still love my job passionately, but I’m even pickier than before. Filming often takes you far, far away, and it’s not easy to find movies that justify the breakup.

I definitely have an aversion to horror and violence. This idea of motherhood must be more deeply anchored in me.
Are you talking about me being promoted, out?
No, but I really don’t want that either. I prefer to talk about others. I don’t see how my life can interest people.
