In a statement, YG Entertainment revealed that the father of So Junghwan, member of TREASURE, passed away last Saturday, 17th.
On Wednesday, 21st, YG Entertainment issued a statement announcing that So Junghwanmember of the boy group TREASURE, will be absent from the group’s activities due to the death of his father last Saturday, 17th.
According to the statement published on the Weverse platform, the funeral took place privately for relatives and close friends, in addition to being attended by the members of the boy group, who made a point of supporting their friend.

We regret to inform you that TREASURE member So Jung Hwan’s father passed away on August 17th.
We bring you this sad news with a heavy heart.
The funeral was held discreetly among family members, close acquaintances, and TREASURE members, following the wishes of Jung Hwan and his family.
We ask for your warm condolences and consideration so that Jung Hwan can have some time to grieve with his family.”
Formed in 2020 by YG Entertainment through the reality show “YG Treasure Box”, TREASURE is currently composed of 10 members: Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeongwoo and So Junghwan.
