While on a trip to Colombia, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted salsa dancing this Sunday, August 18.
They seem more in love than ever. As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent their last day in Colombia this Sunday, August 18, they were spotted dancing the salsa. After visiting the El Vallado creative unit in Cali, local residents took them to the running track. Upon arrival, they were greeted with a warm and lively welcome, with live salsa and hip-hop performances. Meghan Markle, dressed in an off-white dress, was the first to move to the music in the company of the people of Cartagena, before being joined by her husband, who wore a blue shirt and soft white trousers. Both were all smiles while the former actress showed a real sense of rhythm.
After the speeches, Harry and Meghan spent time interacting with the young people, listening to their personal stories about the challenges they face and the successes they have achieved through music and dance. Prince Harry addressed the group, encouraging the young participants, saying: “I hope you understand how your actions affect people and children in your community. The path you choose will inspire and drive change for hundreds, if not thousands, of young people.”

Many manifestations of love
At the beginning of this four-day stay, the Sussexes increased their displays of affection. The two have been seen holding hands several times, including during a visit to a school where they raised awareness among students about the impact of social media. The couple, in fact, started their Archewell Foundation through Parent networka support platform for those whose children have been negatively affected by social media.
During this stay, Archie and Lilibeth’s mother also put her hand on Prince Harry’s knee during a visit to the National Arts Centre. Invited by Vice-President France Marquez, the first Afro-Colombian to hold the post, the Sussexes will then visit Cartagena de Indias and Cali, CNN: Purposeful? “Meet the leaders, youth and women who embody the aspirations and voices of Colombians committed to progress.”
The BBC, however, clarified that the trip was “neither a state visit nor an official royal event”, with the Sussexes stepping down from their royal duties in 2020. This stay should in any case dampen rumors of a possible separation, some media claim. In 2023, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were going down “different professional paths” and that they would even live separately.
Between meetings, speeches and official outfits, the trip is reminiscent of official royal family tours, like Kate and William before them to Belize (Central America) in 2022.
