Kim Nam Gil revealed that shortly after beginning his acting career, he was involved in a serious car accident that required him to stay in the hospital for nearly six months and use a wheelchair until he fully recovered. But even though the accident changed his perspective on his career, the actor says he is grateful for not being exposed to stardom straight away, as that could have made him arrogant. Instead, he began to appreciate every moment on set, regardless of the difficulties he might face.
