The singer joins other wax celebrities at the museum, including Ed Sheeran, Angelina Jolie, Queen Elizabeth II, Karl Lagerfeld and Henry VIII.
The oldest wax museum, the Panopticon in Hamburg, has opened a new exhibition – a wax figure of the singer Taylor Swift.
Berlin-based artist Lisa Büscher has been working on the sculpture since December 2023, spending about eight months. Since Swift never posed in person, Buescher studied her videos in detail to achieve the perfect likeness.
Particularly difficult is the reproduction of the characteristic gesture of the hand in the shape of the heart, because the exact placement of the limbs and body requires a lot of time.
The figure depicts the singer in the blue sequined jumpsuit and silver boots she wore to the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
