Celebrate Father’s Day by getting to know these five K-pop idols who, in addition to putting on a show on stage, are also incredible dads
This Sunday, the 11th, Father’s Day is celebrated throughout the country, a date that honors the patriarchs of families, and which has been celebrated in Brazil since 1953, thanks to a contest organized by the advertising executive Sylvio Bherinh.
At the time, the event was intended to pay tribute to three types of fathers: those with the most children, the youngest and the oldest. However, the contest ended up being featured in the national press, becoming a success, and leading to it being transformed into the holiday that we celebrate annually on the second Sunday of August.
However, it is important to remember that Father’s Day is celebrated on different days around the world. In South Korea, for example, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day fall on the same date: May 8th, known as 어버이날 (/eobeoinal/), where you celebrate the people who gave you life and/or raised you.
With that in mind, to celebrate Father’s Day, RECREIO has put together a list of 5 K-pop idols who are already dads. Check it out!

In August 2021, Bobbymember of iKON, surprised fans by posting a handwritten letter on Instagram in which he announced that he would soon be getting married, and that his future wife was expecting the couple’s first child: a boy, who was born in September of the same year. To this day, the idol has made a point of keeping the identities of his son and wife private, however, the star has already revealed to fans that, despite it being a little difficult, he is “very happy being a father now.”
I will always be proud of this man. If you were able to follow him since the beginning, you should know he’s such a family guy! He provides for his family. He enjoys being a father to his kid. Anyone who’d say otherwise probably has one brain cell left. You definitely need to see… pic.twitter.com/9H6ErwkOrD
