The ‘Freaky Friday’ sequel will hit theaters 22 years after the release of the first film in the franchise
“Freaky Friday 2” has received an official title! As revealed at D23 last Friday, the 9th, the sequel will be called “Freakier Friday”. Check out the promotional art!
The film, which is due to hit theaters in 2025, will featureJamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan again the sequel to bring to life the concerned mother and rebellious daughter, Tess and Anna Coleman, respectively.

Based on the author’s book Mary Rodgers“Freaky Friday” follows Tess and Anna, who switch bodies after eating a fortune cookie at a Chinese restaurant, causing them to experience crazy experiences as they try to return to their original bodies.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the sequel, produced by Disney, will address the body swapping of other characters, one of which is Harper, Anna’s teenage daughter. The official synopsis and trailer have not yet been released.
Still, the first image of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in the film, which was released 22 years after the original adaptation, has already been released by Disney; remember!
