The long-awaited live-action version of ‘Lilo & Stitch’, a classic Disney animation, got its first teaser during D23 last Friday, the 9th.

Since its announcement, the live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch” has been highly anticipated by fans. Last Friday, the 9th, during the first day of D23, Disney’s main convention, held in Anaheim, California, in the United States, the first teaser for the long-awaited adaptation was revealed, where we see Stitch’s design made entirely in computer graphics.

In addition, in the preview released in English, it is also possible to check the expected release date for the long-awaited production: summer 2025. In the northern hemisphere, this period occurs between the end of June and August. Check it out!

It is worth remembering that, last year, some names were already confirmed to bring the renowned characters from the 2002 animation to life in the live-action, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. They are: Maia Kealoha like Lilo; Sydney Agudong giving life to Nani; Kahiau Machado playing David, Nani’s boyfriend; Courtney B. Vance playing social worker and former CIA agent Cobra Bubbles; as well as Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) and Billy Magnussen (Aladdin), whose characters have not yet been revealed by the studio. The direction is under the responsibility of Dean Fleischer Camp.
