Jennifer Lopez will star in the upcoming wrestling biopic Unstoppable, based on a true story. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The film tells the story of wrestler Anthony Robles (Jharrel Jerome), who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University. Lopez plays Anthony’s mother, Judy, and actor Bobby Cannavale plays his father, Rick.
The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The film will be released in select theaters in December.
