The incident involving BTS’s Suga happened last Tuesday, the 6th, bringing consequences regarding the idol’s use of an electric scooter.
Sucksfrom BTS, was caught driving an electric scooter, drunk last Tuesday, 6th. The information was reported by the Yonhap News portal (via Koreaboo), this Wednesday, 7th, when revealing that the Yongsan Police Station, in South Korea, is investigating Sucks for violating traffic laws regarding driving under the influence of alcohol.
It turns out that Sucks was approached by a police officer when he was found lying on the street after operating the vehicle. When helping the idol to get up, the police officer smelled alcohol coming from the artist, causing him to be taken to the police station.
This is because, according to Yonhap News, to drive an electric scooter in South Korea, the driver must have a license, wear a helmet and follow traffic laws (which are similar to those applied to the use of cars), since incorrect use causes the risk of a traffic accident, which can be considered a crime.
BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency that manages the career of Sucks and BTS, revealed that the idol “fell while parking after moving about 500 meters”, and after a breathalyzer test, he received a fine and had his license revoked, even though he did not cause any damage to property or an accident.
It is worth remembering that, currently, Sucks fulfills the mandatory military enlistment for South Korean men. He works as a social service agent, so after the work period (from nine in the morning to six in the evening), he can return home every day.
