In the books, Tyson is a young Cyclops who grew up alone on the streets and has trouble surviving in the human world. Shy and awkward, with a heart almost as big as he is, the boy soon discovers that Poseidon is his father, which means that Percy Jackson is his half-brother… and that he may have finally found a home.
The first season of “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” adapted the first book in the saga, “The Lightning Thief,” and aired on Disney+ between December 19, 2023 and January 31, 2024, with eight episodes released every Wednesday. The second season, which will adapt the sequel, “The Sea of Monsters,” is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
