RoadsideFlix has released a trailer for a film dedicated to legendary American model and photographer Lee Miller.
The film stars Oscar winner Kate Winslet, who also produced the film. The film is based on the book The Life of Lee Miller, written by the photographer’s son Anthony Penrose.
The film takes place in the late 1930s as Hitler gains power in Germany.
Lee can’t get away from tragedy. He decides to become a war correspondent and use his camera to document the horrors of war. His photographs from the battlefield and liberated concentration camps became invaluable evidence of the crimes of the Nazi regime.
The film will release on September 27.
