Albums by TXT, ATEEZ and TWICE were the only Korean artists to make it onto Billboard’s all-time chart
Billboard released the list of the 10 best-selling albums in the United States during the first half of 2024, and among giant names of American pop such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish It is Beyoncethree K-pop groups also appear in the ranking: TXT, ATEEZ and TWICE, which occupy the sixth, seventh and ninth positions, respectively.
It turns out that data collected by Luminate between December 29, 2023 and June 27, 2024, reveals that “minisode 3: TOMORROW”, released on April 1, 2024 by TXT, sold 193,000 copies, falling behind “The Tortured Poets Department”, “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and “Lover” by Swift“Hit Me Hard and Soft”, by Eilish and “Cowboy Carter”, by Beyonce.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1”, released on May 31, sold 191,000 copies, while TWICE’s “With YOU-th”, which hit music streaming platforms on February 23, sold 174,000 copies.
