Source Music sues Min Hee Jin for defamation and damage to LE SSERAFIM’s image

According to the South Korean press, Source Music is asking for 500 million won in compensation from Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR.

In the early hours of Monday the 15th, it was reported by the South Korean media that the company Source Music would be suing Min Hee JinCEO of ADOR, for defamation and damage to the image of the girl group LE SSERAFIM, asking for compensation of 500 million won (approximately R$ 1,985,874.80), as financial compensation for damages caused.

As reported by Koreaboo, the lawsuit presents three main problems caused by Min Hee Jin: the allegation that she had cast the members of NewJeans; the allegation that HYBE had promised her the launch of the conglomerate’s first girl group; and the allegations that Source Music had neglected the members of NewJeans.

The portal also states that the process still highlights that, due to the CEO’s accusations Minmainly related to the alleged negligence towards NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM would have become the target of malicious comments on social media.

With that, the company sent along with the action a series of evidence, including evidence that shows that Min Hee Jin I already knew that LE SSERAFIM would be the first girl group to debut, and that the postponement of NewJeans’ debut would have happened due to the preparations of the manager herself, among others.

As of the publication of this article, Min Hee Jin has not yet commented on the legal action. The case is still ongoing.
