In their first year of debut, NewJeans accumulated the highest number of Perfect All Kills (PAKs) in K-pop history, as “Ditto” simultaneously topped all daily music charts, such as Melon, Bugs, Genie, and many others, accumulating a total of 655 PAKs.
2. Fastest K-Pop act to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify
In 2023, Guinness World Records (via Billboard) confirmed that NewJeans had become the fastest K-pop act to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, achieving the feat after 219 days.
At the time, NewJeans had debuted less than a year earlier and had only released six songs: “Attention”, “Hurt”, “Hype Boy”, “Cookie”, “Zero”, “Ditto” and “OMG”.

With “Hype Boy,” NewJeans remained in the Top 10 of MelOn’s Daily Chart for 339 days, making it the longest-running K-pop song on the chart.
