HYBE’s partnership with streaming service Rakuten Viki will make available a variety of content from boy groups BTS and SEVENTEEN
The streaming platform Rakuten Vikiwhich offers programs and series from Asian countries, recently announced a partnership with HYBE to launch various content related to boy groups BTS It is SEVENTEEN.
Starting today, July 5, subscribers and fans of the groups will be able to watch recordings of concerts, documentaries, reality shows, and variety shows. Some options in the catalog will include the famous “NANA Tour with SEVENTEEN” and the recording of “BTS SPEAK YOURSELF in SEOUL FINAL”.
Rakuten Viki’s Senior Vice President of Content, Jaehee Hongsaid (via Omelete) that he is excited about the news because of the popularity of K-pop:
It’s clear that K-pop’s popularity will continue to grow, so we’re thrilled to launch these content from two of the world’s most popular K-pop bands, BTS and SEVENTEEN, on Rakuten Viki. There’s a strong appetite among K-pop and Asian entertainment fans for streaming this genre of content, so we’re excited to bring this new content to our users.”
The streaming service is currently available both for free, with ads, and through subscriptions, including Viki Pass Standard for R$25.99 per month and Viki Pass Plus for R$36.50 per month.
