Find out how it was possible that Jin’s mother, from BTS, didn’t identify him in one of the eras lived by the idol with the group
In the K-pop industry, it is common for idols to change their hairstyles, cuts and hair colors from time to time, as these hair transformations, in addition to bringing more personality to the artists, are also responsible for adapting them to current fashion or the concept that will be adopted during the promotional actions of a new release.
But, regardless of the reason, some changes are capable of changing the appearance of idols so much that some of them have difficulty being recognized by their own family members — as happened withJinthe oldest member of BTS, who when he became blonde was not identified by his mother.
The revelation came behind the scenes of a video, see:
“My mother didn’t recognize me,” he said. Jin. “She was like, ‘Who is this? You’re a young man. Wow, my son! Oh, I love this, you know?’” Jin he continued before showing satisfaction with the reaction by giving the camera a double thumbs up.
It is worth remembering that “Blonde Jin” emerged during the ‘FIRE’ era that began eight years ago with the release of the MV for the track that belongs to the compilation album, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever’, on May 1, 2016. Remember!
Jinalso appeared with the light locks in ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ from the group’s second Korean studio album, ‘Wings’, released on October 9 of the same year.
At the end of 2018, platinum hair returned, and can be admired in the video for ‘Airplane pt.2’, a track from the album ‘Love Yourself: Tear’.
More than that, Brazilian fans were able to see the hair live, since in 2019 (the last time the idol joined hydrogen peroxide), BTS came to Brazil with the ‘Love Yourself Speak Yourself’ tour, with a single show held on May 25th at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.
