Relive some of the most memorable pets of the main villains from The Walt Disney Studios animations!
In Disney animations, in addition to having protagonists who win the hearts of the public, the studio also has a huge catalog of villains who, despite their evil motivations, still manage to win the affection of fans.
Following a very common practice of the company, many of these characters ended up receiving animal companions, who help them in their plans, as well as serving as a kind of comic relief.
With that in mind, RECREIO has put together a list of five Disney villain pets that are impossible to forget. Check it out!
1. Iago — ‘Aladdin’ (1992)
Iago, Jafar’s parrot, is responsible for helping his owner by gathering information thanks to his ability to fly. However, he also ends up generating hilarious moments thanks to his silly personality — something that tries the villain’s patience.
2. Percy — ‘Pocahontas’ (1995)

In ‘Pocahontas’, Percy is Governor Radcliff’s pug, who accompanies the English crew during their attempt to dominate the tribe where Pocahontas lives. However, the little dog is accustomed to luxury, and goes through a lot when he arrives in the new land — in addition to having his few luxurious moments ruined by Meeko, the protagonist’s raccoon.
3. Diablo — ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (1959)

Maleficent has several henchmen, but her faithful companion is Diablo, her raven. Although he cannot speak, he is always ready to do whatever his owner tells him to do, and is responsible for discovering Aurora’s whereabouts after the princess is hidden by her parents to prevent the villain’s curse from becoming a reality.
4. Pedro and Juca — ‘The Little Mermaid’ (1989)

When Ursula is banished from the palace, she begins to live in a hidden cave, and only learns about what happens in the outside world thanks to her henchmen, the electric eels Peter and Jack. It is thanks to them that she discovers about Ariel’s passion for the human world, and makes the duo approach the princess to offer her a proposal.
5. Lucifer — ‘Cinderella’ (1950)

In addition to having to deal with a terrible stepmother and sisters, Cinderella still has to take care of Lucifer, the family cat who always makes a point of getting in the way of all the housework that the girl does, as well as always trying to catch the protagonist’s best friends, the mice Tata and Jaq.
