During each of their official appearances, the eyes of the world turn to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and most of all, Prince Louis. And if they can be “childish” at times, it really won’t bother the Princess of Wales.
When Trooping The Color marked Kate Middleton’s first public return since her cancer announcement, her children almost stole the spotlight. For several years now, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have been regulars at official events. Queen Elizabeth II’s jubilee, Charles III’s coronation, football matches or Taylor Swift’s concert… They appear in public with their parents quite regularly.
And while Prince George and Princess Charlotte often show exemplary behavior, 6-year-old Prince Louis sometimes seems more agitated. She stole the show from the rest of her family on several occasions, notably at the coronation of her grandfather Charles III in May 2023, during her wild dancing and at her great-grandmother’s jubilee.

But according to OK!, their mother is “not too worried about their behavior,” including Prince Louis’ funny faces, and would just like to see them “being kids,” the source said.
Prince Louis ‘spirited’, Princess Charlotte ‘adorable big sister’
Each sibling seems to have a role to play. “Louis is an energetic child and clearly couldn’t contain his excitement at a public event,” the source said, referring to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest child’s grimaces during Trooping the Color on June 15.
Princess Charlotte is the complete opposite and would make an “adorable big sister”. “He keeps Louis in line when needed. He is very right about this. Charlotte is also known for keeping not only her younger brother, Louis, but also her older brother, George, in line,” the source adds. At Elizabeth II’s funeral, he specifically reminded his older brother, the future king, of the record, before later breaking down in tears himself.
