This Monday, the 24th, the Red Velvet made their long-awaited comeback, marking the beginning of the girl group’s 10th anniversary celebrations since their debut, which will be celebrated on August 1st. The album “Cosmic” has 6 tracks in total, and the MV for the title track is now available; watch!
The video clip features a fairytale aesthetic, along with several references to the horror/horror film “Midsommar: Evil Doesn’t Wait for the Night”, by the director Ari Aster. The narrative unfolds around a sect that performs pagan worship rituals, reflected in the clip through the setting full of trees, the initial mural, the white clothes and the flowers that adorn the members’ costumes.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 through SM Entertainment with the song “Happiness”, with just four members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy It is Joy. The member Yeri was added to the group the following year, during the release of the first mini-album “Ice Cream Cake”.
