BTS’s success has already reached many places, even causing one of their songs to appear on the soundtrack of a Marvel film; find out which one!
The undeniable success of BTS over the years is evident. As one of the groups that contributed most to the popularization of K-pop around the world, it is natural that their songs are played in different places, from radio stations to department stores. Furthermore, the boy group has already been credited on the original soundtrack of a Marvel film! Do you know which one it is?
The track “Friends”, sung by Jimin It is Vpresent on the album “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7”, is part of the original soundtrack for “Eternos”, by the director Chloe Zhao. In an interview with ETtoday with the actor Kit Harringtonwho plays one of the film’s protagonists, she reveals the reasons behind her choice of music, directly involving her personal tastes:
This is my favorite BTS song. I really like Jimin, he’s very cute (…) This song (Friends) is sung by two of them (Jimin and V). It’s a beautiful song. There is a variety of songs on Eternals, and they are all songs that I like, like Pink Floyd and BTS.
In 2021, after the debut of “Eternos”, ARMY’s were unable to hide their excitement after realizing that both the track and Jimin appeared in the final credits. As the film was released in several countries, this contributed to BTS’s rise in popularity, especially considering that the film grossed over $400 million at the box office.
Furthermore, Chloe is not the first person involved with the MCU to express their admiration for BTS. Recently, the actor Winston Duke, who played the character M’Baku in the film ‘Black Panther’, has also commented that he has been listening to a lot of the boy group’s music.
