Rihanna becomes the new face of Dior’s J’adore perfume

The 36-year-old Barbadian singer succeeds Charlize Theron as the new face of Christian Dior’s iconic fragrance.

In 2015, she became the first black muse of the French fashion house. Almost ten years later, Rihanna is going to embody Christian Dior’s most significant perfume, the legendary “J’adore”. A bold choice that confirms the more inclusive turn and the wind of modernity that has breathed the brand’s image in recent years. Awaiting the unveiling of the perfume’s new video campaign, which will be released on September 1st, the first promotional video featuring the star has just been released, giving a promising taste of this radical change in prism.

“Being the new face of J’adore is as much an honor as it is a mission. This fragrance, which I have always known and loved, means so much to women. A fashion icon and artist adored by an entire generation, the Barbadian succeeds Charlize Theron, who has embodied the Dior fragrance since 2004. In turn, the South African actress will now be the face of the luxury brand’s skincare and jewelry.
