These and other children’s classics that marked TV Cultura’s success in the 2000s will return to the broadcaster’s schedule in celebration of its 55th anniversary
According to TV Cultura, some children’s classics that marked the channel’s success in the 2000s will return to the weekly schedule. In celebration of the broadcaster’s 55th anniversary, which will be celebrated on June 15th, the series “Castelo Ra-Tim-Bum”, “Mundo da Lua”, “Confissões de Adolescente”, “As Aventuras de Tintin” and “O Mundo Beakman” were chosen to return to the grid.
Over a period of 3 months, viewers will be able to watch the classics completely remastered, with sound and image quality improved through Artificial Intelligence. Eneas Pereiravice-president of TV Cultura, commented on the project as a way of giving a gift to the public and honoring the professionals involved with the production:
This is a way not only to present a gift to the public, but also to pay homage to all the artists and technicians involved in these productions, professionals who have written their names in the station’s history over these 55 years.
The five children’s classics will be shown individually starting next Monday, June 17th; Check out the full schedule:
“The World of Beakman” – Monday to Friday, at 7pm
“Confessions of a Teenager” – Monday, at 7:30 pm
“Mundo da Lua” – Tuesday, at 7:30 pm
“The Adventures of Tintin” – Thursday, at 7:30 pm
“Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum” – Friday, at 7:30 pm
