“Heartbreaking,” says Maya Hawke about Stranger Things ending

“Stranger Things” debuted in 2016 on Netflix and the story should end in the fifth and final season already in development

On the red carpet for “Inside Out 2”,Maya Hawkewho voices Ansiedade in the original dubbing version of the Pixar animation, commented on another project he is part of: “Stranger Things”, revealing that filming the final season of the Netflix series is heartbreaking.

It’s starting to break my heart, you know? I mean, it’s the end of a long journey — longer for some of my co-stars than for me, but it’s really sentimental,” the actress began reflecting in a statement to Entertainment Tonight (via Omelete). “But as someone who came later, I feel like it’s my job to help my friends process these feelings, and I feel really excited and grateful to be able to be a part of this show.”

please note that Hawke was added to the cast of “Stranger Things” during the second season when she was cast to play Robin Buckley, friend of Steve Harrington (Joe Keery), with whom he shares work hours at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop.
