The first animated series inspired by the popular game ‘Among Us’ does not yet have a release date
InnerSloth released this Monday, the 10th, the unprecedented trailer for the new animated series of ‘Among Us’, a game that received great popularity around the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. Watch!
Still without a premiere date, the production will feature the participation of Randall Park (Ant-Man) as the swashbuckler and captain of the Skeld, Red; Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) bringing to life the unpaid intern paid with Green pizza; Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) playing a “corporate coward” HR employee; It is Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) being the suspicious and sarcastic Head of Security Purple.
The new ‘Among Us’ animated series is expected to follow the same premise as the game, where the official synopsis says: “Members of your crew have been replaced by a shape-shifting alien with the intention of causing havoc, sabotaging the ship and killing everyone. Find out who is an impostor — that is, a victim of his murderous plans.”
Appearing in 2018, ‘Among Us’ became popular in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The game, played in groups, divides people into crew members and impostors, and seeks to make the ship’s crew locate one or more impostors among them, while completing the tasks that appear on the map. Imposters must eliminate other players without being discovered.
