The witch from Konotop turns to her powerful magical powers to take revenge on the Russian soldiers who invaded her town and killed her lover.
FILM.UA Group presented the official trailer for the horror film The Konotop Witch, which tells about the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The plot centers on a witch from Konotop who falls in love with an ordinary man and renounces her witchcraft powers. But a large-scale war began, Russian soldiers captured the city, brutally killed her lover, so she decided to take revenge and, having renewed her strength, condemned the killers of her chosen one to terrible bloody suffering. Watching the conquerors suffer, the sorcerer does not stop his anger and each time uses more cruel methods of witchcraft.
The film will be released on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day – August 22, 2024.
The authors of the film warn that the trailer has age restrictions of 18+.
It was previously reported that 20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for the horror film Alien: Romulus directed by Fede Alvarez.
