What instrument does V from BTS know how to play?

Did you know that, in addition to singing and dancing, BTS’s V also knows how to play an instrument? Find out which one it is!

Within K-pop, in addition to their impressive skills in singing, dancing or even rapping, many idols have also surprised their fans by revealing that they know how to play different instruments, presenting their talents in different opportunities, whether in livestreams or on television programs.

Dahyun (TWICE), Seohyun (Girls’ Generation), Cha Eunwoo (STAR), Suga (BTS) and Rosé (BLACKPINK), are some of the examples that have already presented their gifts several times on the piano. While Mark (NCT), Heejin (LOONA/ARTMS), Seunghee (Oh My Girl) and Hueningkai (TXT), have also shown themselves to be very skilled on the guitar.

On the other hand, there are also stars who presented talents on different instruments, such as Henryformer member of Super Junior-M, who, in addition to piano and guitar, knows how to play violin and guitar; Kyulkyungfrom PRISTIN, who plays the pipa (also known as the Chinese lute), a traditional Chinese string instrument; Jaehwan, from Wanna One, who plays flute, violin, bass, harmonica, drums, piano and guitar; It is Hanifrom EXID, who plays the clarinet.

In BTS, another member who also knows how to play an instrument is Kim TaehyungO V. Some new fans may not know, but the idol studied saxophone for three years when he was younger, and even won a regional competition, as revealed by the star in some interviews.

Second V, after becoming a trainee and deciding to follow his dream of becoming a singer, he abandoned the saxophone for a few years to focus on the other skills needed to achieve his long-awaited debut. In 2016, after seven years without playing, he showed some of his skills during the group’s participation in the South Korean program “Star Show 360”, surprising everyone. Look!
