Star Wars: What series will be released after the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the most recent Star Wars series, has come to an end after six episodes that saw the Jedi Master and the franchise’s great villain, Darth Vader. However, Lucasfilm is preparing new productions, live and animated. These are the ones that have been announced so far.

“Andor”

series “Star Wars” Closest to the premiere is Andor, where Diego Luna will return to play the brave Cassian Andor, who appeared in the spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The series will air Disney Plus will be released on August 31 and will consist of twelve chapters that will tell the previous story of Cassian Andor and other Rogue One characters such as Saw Guerrera (Forest Whitaker) and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly).

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Season 2)

Another production “Star Wars” which already has a release date is The Bad Batch, the animated series that follows Force Clone 99 or The Bad Batch (The Bad Batch), an elite group known by that name for introducing mutations, the product of which are experimental clones.

“Madalorian” (Season 3)

“The Book of Boba Fett”, one of the last series “Star Wars”left it all set for the third season of one of the franchise’s most successful series: The Mandalorian, which doesn’t have a release date yet.

As of now, it is known that Mando will travel with Grugu (Baby Yoda) to Mandalore, the planet where his creed comes from, to regain the Mandalorian status he lost after removing his helmet to save Grugu.

Ahsoka

Ahsoka Tano is one of the characters given a new role in the TV series. “Star Wars”. The character, played by Rosario Dawson, has appeared in The Mandalorian and The Boba Fett Book, although he has already gained attention in a Star Wars: The Clone Wars drawing.

She was Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice before becoming Darth Vader and is expected to see him in the series as well, but now as an enemy. Characters from The Clone Wars such as Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Chopper will also appear. The premiere will take place in 2023.

Other Star Wars series

lucasfilm He plans three series, the details of which he has not yet announced. Star Wars: The Skeleton Squad is one of them starring Jude Law. The other is The Acolyte, which takes place a hundred years before Episode I. Lando, the character who appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and featured in the spin-off Solo, will also have his own series with Donald Glover as the main character.
