ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee Jin, once again commented on the alleged plagiarism of ILLIT, a girl group that she accused of copying the NewJeans concept
This Friday, 31st, the CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jincommented again on gilrgroup’s alleged plagiarism ILLIT, which belongs to Belift Lab, also a subsidiary of HYBE.
In interviews with the South Korean press, after the court voted in favor of its injunction regarding HYBE’s manipulation allegations, reporters brought up the issue again, asking if Hee Jin still thought that there was some plagiarism on the part of ILLIT in relation to NewJeans.
In her response, she does not deny the issue, but also says that she would not want to harm the ILLIT members even further:
I am a consistent person; there is no reason for me to suddenly change my mind. But like I said before, I don’t want to talk about the members anymore because the more I talk about it, the more uncomfortable they (ILLIT) will become.
Min Hee Jin was also asked about raising future problems in the company. The CEO of ADOR responded to the question by saying that, although she does not seek fights with HYBE, she considers healthy discourse to be of great importance:
As for bringing up new questions, I think it is always necessary for questions to be addressed in a healthy way. And the court recognized that this was necessary. So if there’s another reason for me to bring something up, I will.
