Building on its success last year, the Nouvelles Vagues festival returns to the Basque Coast for a second time, bringing together cinema, youth and guests of honor once again from June 18 to 23, 2024.
Nouvelles Vagues set out to be a festival that matters, and it did. After last year’s successful first edition, the Biarritz Film Festival (formerly Biarritz International Film Festival) returns to the Basque Coast from 18 to 23 June. In the program of this event dedicated to young people, eight French and foreign films in competition, incl The Outrun:Directed by German Nora Fingscheidt with Saoirse Ronan. The night drags on By Michel Blanchard with Jonathan Feltre and Romain Duris, or even Like his look By Thierry de Peretti. Monte Cristo and session on the beach

At the age of 35, the director who made a name for himself with his first film Ava: Noah Abita starred in his second feature film, Five devils With Adele Exarchopoulos at the Quinzaine des filmmakers in Cannes. To decide between the eight competing films, Léa Missius will be able to count on the help of her jury, made up of Kitty Chicha, Zoe Deutsch, Kim Higelin, Arash Khaksari, Vincent Lacoste, Manu Rios and Margaret Zhang.
