On the morning of this Wednesday, the 29th, Disney revealed the first teaser trailer for ‘Moana 2’, an animation that will follow up on the events of ‘Moana – Um Mar de Aventuras’, released in 2016; watch!
The plot will follow Moana traveling through the distant seas of Oceania, this time, in search of meeting new people beyond the island where she lives after receiving a special calling from her ancestors. For this adventure, the girl will have the help of the demigod Maui and a new crew.
“Moana 2” will be directed by Dave Derrick Jr., and it is estimated that the theatrical release will take place on November 28, 2024.

The franchise, starring the daughter of the chief of a community of the Polynesian Motonui ethnic group, began in 2016 with the release of the first film, which followed Moana on a dangerous mission across the sea to save her people, who have seen their land wither away years after the demigod Maui steals the heart of the goddess Te Fiti to give to humanity.
