The designer’s brand of the same name posted a disturbing video on its Instagram account on May 21, featuring lookalikes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Kylie Jenner.

A little tired, could have been wrong. There is no point in rubbing your astonished eyes. it’s not them. Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé and Kylie Jenner did not star in Alexander Wang’s latest campaign. Last week, the brand posted a video on its Instagram account that suggests the opposite. We see these four celebs casually unveil the new Alexander Wang bag Ricco Bag:released on May 22.

They therefore open their designer box and discover the piece with not-without-ironic enthusiasm. In the comments, netizens are divided, on the one hand claiming that the marketing team should be fired, on the other hand, that it deserves a raise. “I’m Scared,” “It’s Evil,” “I’ll Have Nightmares About This Ariana Grande,” “Taylor Swift,” or even “It’s Genius,” the campaign, a little cheap divide

One of the Internet users found the Instagram profile of these couples. Their impersonation of celebrities is neither a publicity stunt nor a coincidence. Ashley Lichtin, the Taylor Swift lookalike, and Paige Nieman, the Ariana Grande lookalike, have turned the business on social media, while reps for Kylie Jenner and Beyoncé have questioned their intentions.

Appearances are controversial

Alexander Wang has a habit of playing with appearances. She posted 1 to promote the bageh maybe a photo? deep fake from himself. In 2015, the 40-year-old designer proposed a photo campaign with Anna Evers, who looks like a young Brigitte Bardot. It must be said that a fake celebrity sometimes gets people talking more than the real thing because of the confusion they create. Rather, smaller brands choose this strategy, like Marine Serre, who fooled the public in February by parading Denise Ohnona, the ultimate fake Kate Moss.
