Celebrating 9 years in activity, the boy group SEVENTEEN decided to make a donation to UNESCO to commemorate the date
This Tuesday, the 28th, the Korean committee of UNESCO announced that the SEVENTEEN made a significant donation to the organization last Sunday, the 26th, the date on which the boy group celebrated its 9th anniversary since debut.
The donation was allocated to the “Global Fund for the Environment and Education”, and will be used to expand the #GoingTogether campaign, which focuses on promoting the importance of education for children and adolescents around the world, in addition to collaborating directly with the “UNESCO Forum on the Future of Education”.
After the donation, SEVENTEEN expressed their gratitude for being able to help the cause:
Being able to help and participate in such a meaningful cause on our debut anniversary, which is as special to us as our own birthdays, is both rewarding and rewarding.”
