English actor Rupert Friend will play the lead role in the new film of the Jurassic World franchise, produced by Universal Pictures. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor, who previously appeared in the film Asteroid City, will star alongside actors Scarlett Johansson and Jonathon Bailey.
Plot details are being kept under wraps for now. However, it is known that the filming of the new part will begin this summer. The movie itself is expected to be released on July 2, 2025. The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards.
