Two plays about the war in Ukraine have received theater awards in the United States. Play Hagueproduced at the Harlekin Players Theatre, won The 2024 Elliot Norton Awards for Best Director from the Boston Theater Critics Association.

The second achievement was The Helen Hayes Awards for Best performance. He was awarded the production My Mother and the Full Assault based on Sasha Denisova’s play of the same name.
It is based on the story of the playwright’s 82-year-old mother. It was performed on the stages of the two largest theaters in the United States – the Mammoth Theater and The Wilma Theater.
The scenographers also won the same awards.
