In a recent statement, the HYBE conglomerate accused Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, of lying to the entire nation. Understand!
Since the end of April, k-pop fans have been following the dispute between the conglomerate HYBE and Min Hee JinCEO of the subsidiary ADOR, a company known for managing the career of the girl group NewJeans
This Thursday, the 16th, as reported by the Koreaboo portal, an article went viral on South Korean forums, where HYBE responds to recent statements by Min Hee Jin and ADOR representatives denying the accusations of an attempted coup against the company’s power, stating that the CEO had “deceived the entire nation” with her statements at the press conference on April 25th.
“Min Hee Jin deceived the entire nation by claiming that he never met with investors to plan a scam. His lies are crumbling, one lie at a time. We look forward to proving this in court”, declares the conglomerate.
It is worth remembering that, in the press conference in question, Hee Jin declared that HYBE’s accusations about its alleged coup attempt made no sense, as it already had enough money.
“It makes no sense to say that I stole the management rights for money. I already have shares contracted and I have a lot of things that I received, which I cannot disclose”, explained Hee Jin (via Soompi). “But the various points released by HYBE now are all to their advantage. The points listed in detail are all false from my point of view. I’m a ‘salaried CEO’. I don’t know why a salaried CEO works so much and becomes a target. […] I didn’t betray HYBE, but HYBE betrayed me. I feel like they are trying to frame me to repress me.”
The case is still ongoing.
