The new series will chronicle the lawyer’s life before entering Harvard University, focusing on his life as an ordinary high school student in the 90s.
American actress Reese Witherspoon has announced a prequel series in Legally blonde, which will premiere next year. The BBC reported it.
In particular, the star spoke about the continuation of the legendary duology in the presentation of Amazon Prime Video, which appears in the signature pink image of the main character from a Chihuahua in his hands.
The series will follow Witherspoon’s character, Elle Woods, before the events of Legal blondes. The star will serve as the show’s executive producer. However, it is not yet known who will play the iconic heroine as a teenager.
“Before he became the most famous vegetarian twin to graduate from Harvard Law School, he was just a regular high school student in the 1990s. And you can all meet him next year on Amazon Prime Video. I’m very excited,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
It is known that the upcoming series will be called Elle. The premiere is scheduled for 2025.
