It is known that the artist was accused of inappropriate treatment of the operator of the competition. At the same time, the broadcaster pointed out that after the second semi-final, which took place on May 9, the performer went to the “green room” and asked not to be photographed or photographed. However, one crew member did not listen to the contestant. Because of this, the singer waved his hand at his camera.
“After Thursday’s performance, an incident occurred. Contrary to express agreements, Jost was filmed leaving the stage and rushing to the green room. At that point, Jost repeatedly indicated that he did not want to be filmed. Did not listen his request. to Yost making a threatening gesture toward the camera,” the report said.
In addition, it was noted that Yost did not even touch the operator. The police conducted an investigation, and a delegation from the Netherlands tried to resolve the conflict with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). However, the country was still eliminated from the song competition.
“Jost did not touch the cameraman and the police immediately learned about the incident, and an investigation conducted consultations and proposed several options for resolving the situation to disqualify Joost Klein,” – wrote the broadcaster .
The Netherlands does not agree with this decision of the EBU. They note that disqualification is not equivalent to such a violation.
