American singer Lady Gaga has confirmed the release of her film Chromatica Ball later this month after a two-year wait. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The concert film, originally announced for release in 2022, will include footage from the star’s world tour, which includes music from his Chromatica 2020 album as he performs 20 concerts in Europe, North America and Asia.
The Chromatica Ball tour was scheduled for summer 2020 but has been postponed due to COVID-19.
“When I remember the tour, all the words lose their meaning: you all came at the same time for music and art with so much enthusiasm and love of freedom that I will never forget no matter how big the stadium is the singing is loud in chorus,” commented Lady Gaga.
The film premieres May 28 on HBO and will then be streamed on Max.
The director and producer of the project is the singer.
