Wandinha’s new cast excludes old actors; find out which ones!

Production on the second season of Wandinha is officially underway, but some names will not return for the next episodes

With the official start of filming for the second season of Wandinha, Netflix announced that two actors will leave the cast of the series. Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, a potential love interest of the protagonist, will not return to the series. The actor had previously been removed from the production due to allegations of sexual harassment while living in Toronto, Canada, between the ages of 17 and 20.

Next to him, Naomi J Ogawa (playing the vampire Yoko Tanaka) and James McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) will also not return for season two. McShane must make a smaller participation, in order to conclude his character’s arc in the plot.

With direction from Tim Burton and starring Jenna Ortega‘Wandinha’ follows the young dark girl from the Addams family at Nevermore Academy as she learns to master her psychic abilities and unravels mysteries of her family and the city.

Netflix has not yet released the official premiere date for the second season, but in addition to the main cast, other names have already been revealed through a video announcement, including: Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), Christopher Llyod (Back to the Future), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous), Haley Joel Osment(The Sixth Sense), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries), Billie Piper(Doctor Who) It is Frances O’Connor (The Conjuring 2).
