After BTS was the target of accusations and rumors, the group’s fans organized a protest to ask that the group’s rights be defended
A wave of protests began last Thursday, 2nd, asking HYBE to take appropriate measures against false information and rumors about the BTS gained strength and, as a gesture of indignation, a group of the group’s fans sent trucks with huge LED panels and flower crowns to the company building. Look:
Condolescene Wreath sent by K Army in front of Hybe as of now. They wrote;
◾️Do not use BT5 as your shield!
◾️When you need, u call them ‘our BT5, when u are in trouble, u use them as ur shield for bullet dodging
◾️File a lawsuit against Bt5 gallery that generates and spreads… https://t.co/LrOxoS4y6npic.twitter.com/if0mo5FiMY— 🔑🗝Jiniya지니야_TheAstronaut👩🚀 (@Jiniya1204) May 3, 2024
The action appears as a criticism of the management of HYBE, a conglomerate whose subsidiary is BIGHIT MUSIC, the record company that manages BTS’ career, as flower crowns are commonly sent to offer condolences in South Korea, implying that the competence of the company no longer exists.
This is because, recently, BTS became the target of accusations such as chart manipulation and concept plagiarism for the promotions of the album ‘The Most Beautiful Moment In Life’, released in 2015, as well as involvement with a religious cult called Dhan World.
Furthermore, ARMYs (as BTS fans are called) sent a statement to the press to show support for the formation made up of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V It is Jungkookmaking it clear that they are on the side of the group, and not the company.
ARMY issued a statement in the form of a full-page advertisement to some newspapers in the name of “BTS’s Fan Army” and demanded, “HYBE and Bighit Music should take responsible attitude for indiscriminate attacks and obscenities against BTS and clearly announce immediate legal… pic.twitter.com/xKiqylUAzl

The translation of the statement says:
Although management-related matters within HYBE are ongoing, BTS, which has nothing to do with the current situation, is suffering great harm from fake news and rumors, and we condemn HYBE for standing by and demanding the following.
HYBE President Bang Si-hyuk and CEO Park Ji-won should stop the media game that uses BTS as a shield against the agency’s internal and external negative issues.
HYBE’s Big Hit Music is taking responsibility for the indiscriminate attacks and slander against BTS and is taking immediate legal action and monitoring progress.
We strongly request that this be clearly announced.
We support ‘BTS’, not HYBE.
An agency that does not protect its artists has no reason to exist. Although artist protection is the agency’s most basic obligation, BTS’s agency is not faithfully implementing it.
We understand that failure to meet an agency’s obligations can often be a factor in contract termination. In this sense, we demand that the agency immediately fulfill its obligations.”
The declaration is signed by ARMY, while the flowers are responsible for the organization by the user @blessyouhybe on 31.4 million KRW (around R$116 thousand) raised to make it possible.
It is worth remembering that BIGHIT MUSIC announced, on April 29th, that measures would be taken to protect the group’s rights, and last Thursday, the 2nd, it revealed that several posts have already been compiled so that the offenders are duly punished.
