While Prince Harry’s wife unveiled the first pots of strawberry jam she plans to bring to market soon, Buckingham Palace is praising the qualities of its own product. Some see it as a declaration of war.
While 2024 is starting out as a dark year for the Windsors, on the other side of the Atlantic, it notably marks Meghan Markle’s grand return to the public stage. So far, we don’t know much about Meghan Markle’s brand, but a few details have already leaked. In particular, American Riviera Orchard is rumored to sell tableware, household linens, recipe books, as well as edibles such as jams, spreads, fruit preserves and even oils.
In mid-April, stylist Tracy Robbins and Delphine Blaquier, wife of Nacho Figueras, polo star and close friend of Prince Harry, both shared images of the former actress’ brand’s first product, a pot of strawberry jam in 50 containers. in a specially prepared preview. “Thank you for the delicious basket. The reactions were not long in coming. Surprised by the timing of the release, some netizens were quick to ask if the Buckingham Palace boutique was trying to outdo Meghan Markle. Today thus tried to solve the mystery. And although the Buckingham Palace did not want to respond to his requests, the American media remind that this is not the first time when the palace highly appreciates the merits of his strawberry jam. She’s done it “a few times on Instagram over the years,” Today admits. So, pure chance or a well-crafted strategy?
