The movie’s description on the streaming service states that the film tells the story of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops in 2022, as well as the ongoing war. The film includes recordings from the phones of 12,000 Ukrainians.
In total, the director watched 200 hours of video footage to select the footage that best shows the survival, resistance and life of Ukrainians during the war. Some of the film’s characters died during the war.
“This project is not just another film about the war, but a unique testimony to the tragic events and crimes of Russia through the eyes of Ukrainians, so that no one can rewrite our history,” the Instagram post read.
Earlier it was reported that a trailer for a film about the 3rd separate assault brigade by the famous Ukrainian director Lyubomir Levitsky appeared online.
