In Autism Awareness month, ‘Mundo Bita Imagine-se’ introduced Léo, the new autistic character in the group, but there is much more to see in children’s productions that promote diversity and inclusion
In Autism Awareness Month, Max welcomed a new character: Léo, an 8-year-old autistic boy, who becomes part of Lila, Dan and Tito’s gang in ‘Mundo Bita Imagine-se’.
The character made his debut in the final episode of the 2nd season of the animation. In the story, he shows how nothing stops him from playing with his friends while everyone welcomes him with open arms and is ready to learn how to make him comfortable to have fun.
In addition to Léo, Max brings together other characters in its children’s animations that bring references and representation for all ages, such as Luca, from ‘MONICA’S GANG’and Bebê Ondas from ‘MINI BEAT POWER ROCKERS’.

Mundo Bita Imagine Yourself – Léo
Léo is an 8-year-old autistic boy and is a classmate of Lila, Dan and Tito. Léo is not a person to express himself with words, but he has a passion for writing and loves spending time alone with his notebook, observing the world around him and writing everything down. Monica’s Gang – Luca

Brave and always protecting his friends, Luca is a character who uses a wheelchair and loves to venture into suspenseful stories. The young man melts all the sweet hearts of the little girls he passes by, especially Mônica, who harbors a great romantic passion for the boy, who clearly notices the advances and is amused by the affection received. Peppa Pig – Mandy

Mandy is a wheelchair-bound mouse who is part of Peppa’s group of friends! With her wheelchair, Mandy shows that she is able to move, even if in a different way, and that doesn’t stop her from having a lot of fun with her friends. Watch Mandy’s episode here.
Mini Beat Power Rockers – Bebê Ondas

The Mini Beat Power Rockers production tells the rhythm-filled adventures of an unlikely group of baby musicians in a daycare center. In the episode “Rock de Sinais”, Bebê Ondas, who is hearing impaired, is introduced to the group of rockers, who welcome her with sign language. Not to be left out of the party, Bebê Ondas teaches how she can feel the rhythm of the music, even without being able to hear it. Check it out here.
