Urgent press conference held this Thursday, 25th, featured statements by ADOR CEO, Min Hee Jin, about the conflict with HYBE
After an urgent press conference held by the CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jinthis Thursday, the 25th, about the conflict that it and the agency have been facing with the HYBE conglomerate, the parent company issued a statement taking a position on the statements.
The statement has the following translation:
This is a notice from HYBE.
From what was stated by CEO Min Hee Jin at today’s press conference, there are so many things that are far from the truth to such an extent that it is difficult to analyze them one by one.
CEO Min distorted the facts by confusing the timeline and presented her characteristic distorted form of interpretation in a public setting.
We can refute all the statements with evidence, but we decided not to mention them one by one, as we judge it not worth responding.
However, we will diligently comment on facts that should be clearly stated in commercial terms between media inquiries.
We respectfully request CEO Min to stop lying that “there was no offer for dialogue” and that “there was no email response”, return the information assets as requested, and respond promptly to the audit. We urge her to resign immediately for the proper management of ADOR as she has already proven herself incapable of being in charge of management.
Also, stop continually mentioning artists and their parents as it degrades the value of artists.”
It is worth remembering that the dispute between the HYBE conglomerate and the subsidiary LOVE became public last Monday, 22nd, after HYBE suspected that there were plans, designed by Min Hee Jin and two more employees, so that the agency became independent from the parent company.
An audit was initiated and is ongoing. Still, ADOR denies the attempt to disassociate itself from HYBE, as well as giving a new version of the origin of the conflict: alleged plagiarism on the part of BELIFT LAB, which would have copied the NewJeans concept for the recently launched group, ILLIT .
