However, the name became the target of criticism, as it is similar to other k-pop fandoms, such as Lisa, from BLACKPINK, known as “Lilies” or NMIXX, which is called Lily’s.

Firstly, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the incredible love and support you have shown to ILLIT.
We have an important update regarding the official name of the ILLIT fan club. Originally announced on April 21, the fan club name was selected from several candidates compiled with fan input, reflecting our desires for everlasting love between ILLIT and its fans.
However, we decided to revisit the issue after reviewing several concerns that arose. The name of the new fan club will be chosen from other pre-selected candidates and announced later. This time there will be no naming contest.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused and thank you for your understanding.

ILLIT is a group of BELIFT Lab, a sub-label of HYBE. It was formed through HYBE’s ‘RU Next?’ survival program in partnership with JTBC. It has 5 members, namely: Wonhee, Yunah, Minju, Moka It is Iroha. It was originally going to debut with 6 members, but Youngseowho participated in the pre-debut, left before the official debut.
