In an interview, the actress who was in the cast of ‘Friends’ revealed compromising details about the series’ recording set; understand!
In a recent interview with The Independent (via Omelete), the actress Olivia Williams revealed that he did not have a good experience on the set of the sitcom ‘Friends’. In the production, she played Felicity, Emily’s maid of honor (Helen Baxendale) at her wedding to Ross (David Schwimmer).
Her character only appeared in the last episode of the series’ 4th season. However, this short period allowed the actress to notice how “toxic and alarming” the recording environment was.
Well, I’ll give you an example: on my first day of filming, I was taken to the studio in a car provided by the network, and with me was this other incredible woman, an older lady, who had a very small role in the episode. I thought she was great, but at one point during filming a producer, I think, yelled at her and said, ‘You’re not funny!’ The next day, I found out she was fired,” said Olivia.
Soon after, the actress recalled another experience on set. “Friends was like a big brand, and you had to fit in to be on the show. The makeup people took one look at me and said, ‘We need to tweak your look.’ my eyebrows. And I begged them not to do it, I kept saying, ‘Maybe I need my eyebrows for another job!'”
