From trailers to new characters; see what information has already been released about ‘Inside Out 2’
Sequel to the 2016 Oscar-winning film for Best Animated Feature, ‘Inside Out 2’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2024, with its premiere scheduled for this year!
The plot will follow the changes in Riley’s emotions after the arrival of puberty, after all, the film will be set years after the first, following the challenges of Joy, Disgust, Anger, Fear and Sadness and other emotions after the girl’s 13th birthday. .

New emotions
In addition to Joy, Disgust, Anger, Fear and Sadness, the sequence will bring new emotions. They are: Shame, Envy, Boredom and Anxiety.
These new figures will be represented by different colors than the already known characters, as Shame will be pink; Boredom will be characterized by purple; Envy will be mirrored by the color cyan and Anxiety is a completely orange character.

The direction of the film will be different from the first film, as Pete Docter will not return to the sequence command. This time, Kelsey Mann (Party Central) signs as director, while the script is in charge of Meg LeFauvewho also acted as a screenwriter in the 2015 plot.

A year later, on November 9, 2023, the first teaser was presented, revealing the first of the new emotions: Anxiety.
On the same day, the first glimpse of Shame, Envy, Boredom and Anxiety was revealed through a poster published on the studio’s social media.
At the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the USA, the animation got its official trailer.
Last Tuesday, the 9th, Empire shared an unprecedented image from the feature film, where the emotions presented in the first film appear in conversation with Anxiety and Envy.
Synopsis
The film’s synopsis says: “With the move to a new city, 11-year-old Riley’s emotions become extremely agitated. A mix-up in her brain’s control room leaves out Joy and Sadness, radically affecting Riley’s life.”
Release date of
The film is scheduled for release on June 14, 2024 in Brazil.
