See which are the only four K-pop groups that debuted in 2012 and are still active even after 12 years of debut
In total, 40 k-pop groups debuted in 2012. The number is high, but today, 12 years later, it is possible to count on the fingers of both hands how many formations remain active, as of these, only 4 have not disbanded. .
Which are they?
The groups in question are: 24K, who debuted under Choeun Entertainment; EXID, girl group created by AB Entertainment; EXO, from SM Entertainment and VIXX, released by Jellyfish Entertainment. Find out more about the training below!
1. 24K
24K made its dream debut on September 6, 2012, through Choeun Entertainment. Over the years the formation has undergone reformulations and is now renamed 24K+ and has 5 members: Xiwoo, Kiyong, Imchan, YumaIt is Takeru.
Under the new name, the formation debuted with the mini-album “Roller Coaster” on November 21, 2023, which is the group’s most recent release. Watch the title-track MV above!
2. EXID
With Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin It is Jeonghwa as members, the EXID premiered on February 16, 2012, by AB Entertainment, but since 2016, group releases have been managed by another entertainment company, Banana Culture.

3. EXO
EXO debuted on April 8, 2012, under SM Entertainment. The formation lost Kris, Tao and Luhan as members and currently has eight members: Suho, Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, OF, Kai, Sehun It is Lay.

4. VIXX
